A bit about me
I've spent 10+ years designing products at the intersection of complex systems and everyday users. I find the first viable shape of something new and bring structure to something that has grown tangled.
Currently designing AI and business products at Meta. Before that, rebuilding core tax experiences at Intuit.
Outside of work, I think too much about the built environment, care a lot about mental health, and own more sneakers than is reasonable.
Working with me
I'm no stranger to navigating ambiguity and making confident decisions. I believe the best design outcomes are downstream of better problem framing, not just better pixels. To get there, I align with cross-functional partners early and often. By the time high-fidelity design begins, the hardest strategic decisions have already been made together.
“After the layoffs and reorgs, our team was left with no PM, no tech lead, and a transitioning manager. Robin stepped up to lead planning conversations and processes. I couldn't be more thankful for his partnership.”
— Engineering Manager, Meta
“Robin provided design support for our highest-ambiguity, highest-risk projects. He was always on top of requests, adept at surging where needed, and demonstrated great judgment on tradeoff decisions.”
— Product Manager, Meta
“We partnered on a design sprint for information architecture and navigation. Robin was an excellent collaborator, helping shift the outcomes to develop a clear narrative and landed several projects on the roadmap.”
